I'm back on here after a long absence. Posted a new painting up. Hope you like. I appreciate all the positive comments that were left for me. I thank you all so much!

As I guess you can see, I've uploaded a new painting that I've just completed. This is a bit different from anything I've ever done. Definitely my darker, meaner streak is coming out. I'm not a devil worshipper, this is just my views on what I see around me and it's coming out in my art....

What do you do when you think you have a great idea, you produce that great idea, market it to all the right venues, and then..............
NOTHING HAPPENS!

I painted a series of animal portraits on wooden plaques. Priced them extremely reasonable, $35, displayed them in great locations, and not one sold. No orders for anything, zip!

I have these things in pet grooming places. I take it that anyone who cares enough to take their pet to a grooming center is obsessed with their animal. Right? Nothing selling, what am I doing wrong here?

Maybe what I should do is screw this "portrait on commision" type thing I've been trying to promote, and go off in another direction. Maybe I should paint something more self satisfying and create art that's more of a challenge to me...
